About Lprint
LPRINT is a French deep-tech start-up, supported by INRIA, X-Up, and École Polytechnique. We are developing an innovative 3D printer for the additive manufacturing of industrial-grade multilayer printed circuit boards (PCBs). Our mission is to transform the way PCBs are designed and manufactured — enabling faster, more flexible, and more sustainable production that empowers hardware engineers and product development teams.

Internship mission

You'll work closely with our CTO on the core product. Your primary goal is to contribute to the R&D of our printing processes and functional materials, helping to push the boundaries of what our laboratory prototype can achieve on 2D and 3D substrates.

• Characterise and test functional inks and conductive materials on various substrates.
• Develop and optimise printing processe.
• Contribute to the design and prototyping of printed electronic circuits.
• Evaluate printed structures using standard characterisation techniques (electrical, morphological, adhesion).
• Document experiments and contribute to internal R&D reporting.

Requirements

You are able to manage demanding hands-on projects with rigorous methodology, while thriving in a collaborative and fast-paced startup environment. You are eager to take ownership and learn.

• Interest in printed electronics, functional materials, or additive manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with inks/functional fluids, substrates, interfaces, and adhesion concepts.
• Knowledge of printed circuit design principles.
• Experience with characterisation tools and laboratory instrumentation.
• Rigorous documentation habits and attention to detail.
• Fluent English.
• Currently completing a Master's in Sustainable Printed and Integrated Electronics (e.g. Grenoble INP – Pagora e.PEPS).

Nice to have

• Experience with 3D printing on complex shapes.
• Familiarity with lifecycle analysis (LCA) and ecodesign methodologies.
• Interest in electronics end-of-life and sustainable innovation.
• Knowledge of antenna design or RF prototyping.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
